Let’s get one thing straight. I am a sucker for emotionally-driven songs that wear their scarred hearts proudly on their sleeves, add a killer guitar riff, beautifully melodic vocals, hopeful lyrics, and I’m happily taking the journey with the artist, every single time. This is why I was so pleased to come across Syracuse, New York modern/rock artist, Molly D’Ago’s latest single End of the World.

End of the World comes packed with all the hallmarks of a hit single, which is no surprise when you consider that Molly D’Ago has previously teamed up with Waylon Reavis of Mushroomhead to create her first single ‘Lifetime’, followed by working with Hugo Ferreira of Tantric. If the company you keep says anything about you, and it does, then it says that listeners should be ready to take D’Ago quite seriously. End of the World captures that cinematic feel by offering every track within the mix to breathe on their own without overwhelming each other. It is a mix so perfectly done that I can comfortably offer a comparison to the hit-song Decode by Paramore (and we all know how well that single was received).

Charting across several European countries, Molly D’Ago simultaneously promoted her debut album (produced by Sahaj Ticotin) while taking on law school in the back of the tour bus. Stepping away from her usual position of helping other artists realize their music visions, Molly has placed her music career directly in the crosshairs of 2022 and beyond, a gamble that looks as though it is starting to pay off.

If you are looking to add another song to your daily rotation, End of the World by Molly D’Ago is the song to add.
