They say that you should never sing your praises, but this time around I can’t help it because I was right about the trajectory of Syracuse New York’s Molly D’Ago and her rocketing music career. From the first moment that I heard the opening lines of her hit single End of the World a beautiful rock anthem at home with the likes of Paramore, I knew that there was something special about this artist, and the industry agreed wholeheartedly with placing her song on the Billboard Secondary Charts Top 40!

With over 60,000 new singles being added to Spotify daily it is incredibly difficult to break out of obscurity without resorting to an online gimmick to build your audience, which is what makes the success of Molly D’Ago that much more impressive, because this is an artist not wasting any time trying to create a persona of who she thinks she needs to be to get attention, she is raw and real and authentic, and it’s working!
This brings me to why I am writing this article on Molly, as someone who has worked with her in the past, I am just proud of the doors she is opening without having to compromise her artistic vision. I have come across so many musicians in my line of work that are fixated on trends of sound, trends of style, and trends of how to act publicly, which kills me as an artist to have to think about. I always hope that the artists I work with can show up as self-aware and confident as Molly D’Ago, and that through the successes of such artists, others will see that there is still a huge market for authenticity.
So what has hard work, focused intention, and staying true to her vision done for this talented artist? Billboard charting status is huge to be sure, but the news I bring you today is about her latest achievements because it means a lot more great music is coming our way from Molly!
Wake Up! Music Group announces the signing of rocker Molly D’Ago to Wake Up! Music Rocks in Miami, Florida.
Signing with a label is a dream for many indie musicians looking to take their music career to the next level, but even more important is signing with a label that is the right fit for the artist, and Wake Up! Music Group is most definitely the right fit for Molly D’Ago considering the incredible talent already in their roster. Along with inking a new deal, Molly has teamed up with a new booking agent through Fuel the Funeral Entertainment to set things in motion for an upcoming tour guaranteed to showcase Molly’s incredible live performance and commanding stage presence.
For more than ten years Molly has been bringing her guitar playing and vocals to the mainstage alongside industry-leading artists in the genre of both Rock and Country. Launching her official solo career in 2019 with the release of her highly-praised emotionally-driven single ‘Lifetime’ written in partnership with the incredible Hugo Ferreira of Tantric.

And so here we are, at what feels like the rising of a phoenix from the proverbial ashes with Molly D’Ago. A new label, a powerful team, new music in the works, and a tour being set up as we speak, mark my words when I say that you will be hearing more in regard to Molly D’Ago from this point moving forward, and you should be excited about that!
